"Bertie" the hummingbird is my take on the popular red-throated hummingbird often seen in Oklahoma in the spring. Bertie was done in the style of an acrylic pour, so he is super fluid looking. He's on a white and gold background, making the deep teal and greens pop off the canvas. The gold in the background and the copper paint in Bertie add just a hint of shimmer to this piece.
